Luutch is creative time to myself.
My name is Martha and I’m the founder of Luutch Studio. I’m Irish born and currently splitting my time between Ireland and The Netherlands. My professional background is in advertising but my passion lies in having the freedom to create.
Luutch is my time away from work, home life and motherhood. It’s me spending time and trying to see what I can make.
Luutch is all the different tangents I allow myself to go down.
It’s really not at all that long since I picked up a paintbrush again. Last year, after my newly born daughter started to form a reliable sleeping pattern, that coupled with the worldwide shutdown alà Covid, like everyone else I had time on my hands. I was determined not to waste it on Netflix. And so, I started painting again.
My creative time is more than one particular thing. It probably stems from a deeply inherent love of learning. I love to learn. And I learn by doing and so I can be found drawing, illustrating, writing, designing and brainstorming.
Luutch is freedom and fun.
Luutch is not a brand name to hide behind. It’s an extension of myself. Everything I create under the umbrella of Luutch is about freedom, exploration and ultimately fun and learning. All the pieces I produce are done with a sincerity and a spark of joy at having made something I like to look at myself, never mind anyone else.
