Exploring chaos and order.
This piece is a prime example of my creative process; a frenzy of painting. Ahead of time I decide on a strict colour palette and get to work. I set down multiple pages or canvas and lose myself for hours in the different combinations that come up. This particular piece was the result of such an evening. Experimenting with different backgrounds, different floral motifs, different splatter techniques. By the time I got to finishing this piece I had lost my careful and tidy technique and replaced it with ferver, keeping in mind the patterns I was creating I was approaching them with a creative burst to be free and careless.
